However, people with Narcissistic Personality Disorder have a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, excessive need for admiration, and lack of empathy. #2 Narcissistic partners engage in chronic manipulation and devaluation of their victims, leaving victims feeling worthless, anxious, and even suicidal. This type of continual manipulation is known as narcissistic abuse. #3 Narcissists are abusive towards their partners for several reasons.
